好莱污影院 Board of Trustees Takes Action on Key Initiatives

FORT PIERCE, FL (October 1, 2024) - The 好莱污影院 District Board of Trustees met on September 24, 2024 to discuss and act on several important matters affecting the College's future. The meeting was held at the College鈥檚 Mueller campus in Vero Beach.

Student Government Association (SGA) Report: Luke Sipple, SGA President, presented results from the Rebrand Student Opinion Survey, reflecting student feedback on the College鈥檚 strategic rebranding efforts. The SGA also reported record attendance at the Annual Club Rush and a successful first General Assembly honoring 9/11 heroes.
Approval of Clinical Affiliation Agreements: The Board approved several clinical affiliation agreements to provide Health Science students with additional clinical rotation opportunities. These partnerships include agreements with Dwight G.A. Dawkins, M.D., P.A., New Horizons of the Treasure Coast, Inc., St. Lucie and Okeechobee County Health Departments, and Quest Diagnostics Clinical Laboratories, Inc.
Independent Contractor Agreement: An independent contractor agreement with Shanna Stokes, MSN, APRN, was approved to provide instructional services for clinical, laboratory, and simulation experiences.

Approval of various full-time appointments, separations of service, retirements, and part-time appointments

The next District Board of Trustees meeting is scheduled for October 22, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in Room A301 at the College鈥檚 main campus in Fort Pierce.
